OC Percussion
Oregon City Winter Ensemble (OCWE or “OC We”) is a premier ensemble of instrumentalists and color guard open to anyone attending Oregon City High School. A typical OCWE performance contains aspects of marching, choreography, and musicianship in a style similar to other winter percussion groups, however in our search for the highest quality experience OCWE strives to push the limits of the genre and what it means to be a marching musician.
Inclusion is dependant upon a successful audition held in the Fall and rehearsals are typically twice during the week with several weekend dates for rehearsals and performances.
Past performances include:
Wizard World Comic Con at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, OR (2016)
Oregon City High School Basketball Games (2016)
Registration
You can find the 2017 OCWE Registration Form by CLICKING HERE.
Please fill it out and bring it by Dana Henson’s office at OCHS by Dec 13th, 2016.

2017 “Myths of Earth”
will fuse Japanese Taiko techniques with indoor percussion musical presentation to bring an exciting new experience to the ensemble.
The music, choreography, and fundraising necessary for this show is coming together a little more each day and we will be handing it out information gradually before Winter Break.
Our schedule is in the process of being confirmed, however, from our very first rehearsal we will be in the thick of music, movements, and Japanese culture until April.
Every student is important to the success of this show! I look forward to working with you all and creating this unique experience in music and movement!
